Joanmar was born about 12 years ago, with a dream of a mother and a daughter who share the same passion for Fashion. The Atelier is distinguished by the creativity of two talented designers, Maribel and Maricarmen. Both, have been formed in the colleges of the most important designers in Puerto Rico, Lisa Thon and Carlota Alfaro. Maricarmen is following the footsteps of his talented mother and continued her education in the most prestigious fashion universities in New York City, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (LIM College).  Their designs have been worn by hundreds of satisfied clients, beauty queens, recognized models and local celebrities. Also, have been seen in fashion magazines and newspapers as Contorno, Ego, and Runway Collection.
